Stainless Steel Swings – SS 304 Grade | Galaxy Zula House
Finding a swing that actually holds up outdoors in India through monsoons, dry summers, and everything in between isn't as easy as it sounds. Most swings look great in photos but start showing rust within a year or two. That's the problem we set out to solve with this collection.
Every stainless steel swing at Galaxy Zula House is made using SS 304 grade steel not 202, not mild steel with a coating, but genuine 304. It's the same grade used in surgical equipment and kitchen-grade surfaces. Outdoors, that means it handles humidity, rain, and heat without degrading, rusting, or losing its finish over time.
This isn't a playground equipment collection. These swings are designed for homes, balconies, gardens, and private spaces where both look and longevity matter. Clean lines, solid build, and material quality that you can feel the moment you sit on it.
SS 304 contains nickel alongside chromium, which is what gives it serious corrosion resistance. The cheaper alternative SS 202 replaces nickel with manganese to cut costs. On paper it's still "stainless steel." In practice, especially in humid Indian climates, 202 develops rust staining at welds and joints within a couple of years. We don't use it.
With 304, the frame stays clean. Joints don't bleed rust onto walls or floors. The surface doesn't pit or corrode even if it gets scratched. That's the difference you're paying for and over 5–7 years of outdoor use, it absolutely shows.
These stainless steel swings from Galaxy Zula House are built for different spaces and needs from compact single-seaters for apartment balconies to larger frames suited for gardens and open terraces. Each piece is custom-made, so if you have a specific dimension, color preference, or finish in mind, we can work with that too.
Every swing in this range comes with:
SS 304 grade frame as the primary structure. Matching stainless steel hardware including chains, bolts, and connectors because a SS 304 frame paired with galvanized mild steel hardware will still rust at the joints. Seat options in rubber, HDPE, or SS depending on the model. Custom sizing available on request reach out via our contact page before ordering if you have specific requirements.
Stainless steel swings are heavier than wooden or acrylic frames, and proper anchoring matters. For ceiling-mounted swings, the anchor point should be load-rated and fixed into a structural beam or slab — not just drywall or false ceilings. For floor-standing SS frames, ensure the base is on a flat, level surface. If you're unsure about installation, feel free to call us we're happy to guide you through it.
